Dear geographers, colleagues, and friends,

We are very excited to invite you to join the Waldo Tobler and TGIS Distinguished Lecture in GIScience and Award Ceremony & Reception at AAG 2025, co-organized by the Geographic Information Science and Systems Specialty Group (GISS-SG) and Transactions in GIS journal (Editor: Dr. John Wilson). 

This year, we are honored to host Dr. Kathleen Stewart (University of Maryland – College Park) and Dr. Song Gao (University of Wisconsin-Madison) as keynote speakers. The keynote and reception will take place in Room 360, Level 3, Huntington Place, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
